Sexual education

We work with children, adolescents, and adults in a rights-based and age-appropriate manner on topics such as the body, love, relationships, and sexuality. Key topics may include puberty, role models, sexual identity or gender diversity, and sexual orientation, as well as contraception, sexually transmitted diseases, media and pornography, personal boundaries, and pregnancy and parenthood.

We also consider problematic aspects of sexuality and relationships in our work, thus contributing to the prevention of unwanted pregnancies, infections, and sexual violence.

pro familia Wolfenbüttel offers further training and information events for nursery school teachers, teachers, day carers, carers and students.

Topics can include

• Sexual development of children (body exploration games/ rights/ boundaries)

At the request of daycare centres, schools and other educational institutions, we organise information evenings for parents and guardians.
